Waiting For You - New Painting

Here is a new painting I have just listed on etsy. It is a small 4 x 4 inch painting but will be matted/mounted in a 10 x 8 inch plain white mount so it is ready to pop straight in to a frame. You can buy standard size frames from almost anywhere now from supermarkets and bargain shops to DIY stores and, of course framing shops so having the painting ready to pop in to one makes it much easier and quicker (not to mention cheaper) for you to get the painting on your wall.

I will be selling most of my paintings with mounts from now on with the exception of ACEOs. Many aceo (stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals" which are little 3.5 x 2.5 inch paintings) collectors have their own special way of displaying these which means that mounting them may conflict with what the buyer wants. I do however have some lovely pure white mounts for this size painting which I will list as extras in my shop for those of you who simply want to display them as little paintings.

Here also is a screen shot of when my painting showed up in "recently listed items" I thought I would add this as I really like the hats that are shown in this shot. They are hand made and I think perfect for the summer (if we ever get any real sun!). You can see more of them at the sellers etsy shop at www.sookie.etsy.com.
